Bio: Ashunda Norris is a spiritual being whose soul path was disrupted by the arrival of non-Africans upon her Ancestors’ earth land. In this time sphere of space, she was born and raised in Dublin, Georgia, and works as a filmmaker, poet, critical scholar, and teacher. Using film, experimental techniques, and poetry, Ashunda seeks to explore Black feminism as lived praxis, intraracial gender dynamics, sexuality, body/mind/spirit autonomy, and myth as a form of healing.
